Welcome to JDRC11

The 11th Japanese Drosophila Research Conference (JDRC11) will be held June 4-6, 2014 at the Kanazawa Theatre, Kanazawa, Ishikawa. The JDRC11 will be a great opportunity to have scientific communication between life scientists who mainly use Drosophila as a model organism. However, non-Drosophila scientists who are interested in flies are also welcome. Most of the attendee will be mainly from Japan including non-Japanese researchers. Therefore, the primary language used in this meeting is English. However, to encourage active participation of young students, a part of presentations will be delivered in Japanese as well, which will be announced in the program book. We would like to appreciate your generous understanding.

We sincerely look forward to the success of this meeting, in which researchers of various generations and backgrounds share the exciting time in the old city of Kanazawa.
