The Japanese Drosophila Research Conference (JDRC) is held once every two years to serve to reflect on progress in Drosophila biology in Japan. The 6th meeting is directly followed by the second Japan-Korea Symposium, which will include a lot of topics in the field of Drosophila research.

The registration area will be located in the lobby of the Large Hall. You will receive a nameplate and tickets for a lunch box and Social according to your registration . Please wear the nameplate during the meeting and return it at your leaving.

Registration fee: 6,000 yen with a reduction of 2,000 yen for students

Platform sessions: Room for the platform sessions will be the Large Hall. Each platform presentation will be limited to a 12 minute presentation, with an additional 3 minutes for questions and discussion. Detailed information for the platform presentaion will be announced individually to the presenter. All platform presenters are also requested to present a poster.
The formal language is Japanese, but other languages such as English, Chinese and Korean can be used for platform presentation. All presentation figures (posters and slides) should be written in English and associated with proper English captions so that people unfamiliar with the language used can understand the presentation. English will be used for discussion in the case of non-Japanese presentations.
Poster sessions: Posters will be displayed on a board approximately 180 cm by 90 cm in the Diamond Room. All posters will be available throughout the meeting. Presenters are requested to display the poster on the designated board before 13:30 on Tuesday, July 7 and strongly encouraged to display their posters until the last day of the symposium (August 1). All posters must be removed from poster boards no later than 12:00 on Friday, August 1.

The 6th JDRC Abstracts
General meeting will be held at the Large Hall beginning at 18:00, Wednesday, July 30. All members of the JDRC are requested to attend the General meeting
Social gathering will be held at the Hoh-ou Room beginning at 19:30, Wednesday, July 30.
You can pick up the lunch box in the lobby of the Large Hall in exchange for the ticket. The Large Hall and the Diamond Room will be available for eating a lunch box.
There will be no cloakroom. Only guests of Eminence Hotel will be able to check your baggage at the front desk of the hotel.
Smoking is allowed only in designated areas and outdoors.
